Friends and family gather at the Conners' for turkey, football and family drama. We talk a lot about food and Thanksgivings past, including the one with hippie intellectuals in Berkeley where we had our first Tofurkey. OG Becky is trying to have new Becky's baby, but it turns out her eggs are fried. She's sad about that, because apparently every woman wants to have a baby.
We get into it. Dan gets Roseanne a stair chair for her bad knee, and Darlene's daughter is a terrible person.
She gets caught stealing, as teenagers on TV are wont to do, and Roseanne gets abusive. We talk about the racial dynamics on TV then and now, because we're a couple of white people ready to solve all the problems. This episode is strange.
It has a dream sequence. We don't usually like those, but we're getting soft, and this one was pretty cool. We talk about TED talks and night terrors. The Conners are back.

Or they never left. Dan and Roseanne are in the same house in Lanford, Darlene just moved back home from Chicago with her daughter from "Shameless" and her son who dresses in clothes people make fun of. Laurie Metcalf steals the show in a pussy hat, and both Beckys show up.
Everyone is old and in HD. We're here for all of it. It's Halloween in Lanford, which means the Conners are getting weird. We talk about being too old for trick or treating, everyone begging in the rich neighborhood and resisting samples at the grocery store. Dan has the boys over for poker night, and Tom Arnold kisses Roseanne on the neck.

Sound Mix: Stereo. Color: Color. Edit Did You Know? Goofs When a new refrigerator is delivered to the Conner's, it's wheeled in on a dolly and parked in the living room. After the worker leaves, the paper is now folded neatly under the belt, and is more on the corner, than near the dolly.
During the same scene, when Dan takes back money Burt gave to Darlene, the paper is now under the strap on the front of the fridge. Seconds later, as Roseanne is crossing the living room, the paper is back on the side of the fridge next to the dolly.
Somebody Stole My Gal ( - ) by Ted Weems on Spotify
Having never touched the fridge, in the final scene the dolly is now strapped to the right side of the fridge, and the sales paper is gone altogether. Quotes Roseanne Conner : We're children of the 60s, Dan, we're supposed to love people, and anymore that's about the only thing we can afford to give away.
